This will give you your own secure server connected to the Internet backbone. You can access and manage your server from your own web browser 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The following are some of the features available on the hosting packages;

Domain Name

You use a free domain name or use your own domain name as required. You can add further sub domain names or alias domain names at a small charge. We can set up short cut domain names such as 'http://jump.to/xxxxx' with both free options with advertising or advertisement free at a small charge.

Storage

The standard package comes with 30Mbytes of disk storage. This is more than adequate for most sites but you can add more for an extra charge if an when it is needed.

Full scripting support

Dynamic sites need server side scripting and the standard package comes with CGI-BIN, Perl, PHP4, Java, Python, TCL and C/C++. This is more than adequate for dynamic sites design and developed by us and usually quite suitable for most client-designed sites.

Full FTP access

You can upload files to the server using the standard File Transfer Protocol. For an extra charge you can offer anonymous FTP access to your website to allow visitors to download information from the site.

Bandwidth Allocation

The standard package supports a 500Mbyte bandwidth transfer. This means that you are allowed to transfer up to 500Mb of data from the site to the internet. This includes the actual transmission of your websites pages to a client's browser. 500Mb is more than adequate for most websites but those with a high hit rate can up this limit at a small extra charge.

10 POP3 email Addresses, 10 email redirects and 10 auto-responders

You will to receive any email sent to 'anyname@yourdomain.com' into your default email inbox. With the 10 POP3 addresses you can reserve up to 10 names to have their own email accounts which their own passwords. With the 10 redirects you can reserve up to 10 names that redirect any email sent to them to a different email account (even one on a different domain). With the 10 auto-responders you can reserve up to 10 names to automatically reply to the sender with preset replies. You can purchase more of these different types of email options at a small extra charge.

Secure Site Access

The advanced package allows for secure transfers that are essential for e-commerce secure payment.

Front Page 2000 extensions

This allows you to use Microsoft's Front Page 2000 Web Publishing tool with your website.

Web Server configuration and Task scheduling

You will have access to the Apache Web Server (.htaccess) configuration file and access to the UNIX (cron) Task scheduler. This allows you set up, for example, password protected web pages and custom error messages. You can set up automated site backups and mail shots etc.

Traffic Analysis Tools

You will have access to the raw web server access log files and daily comprehensive traffic analysis tools.

Web based administration

You can administer your hosting package and virtual web server via a browser based configuration utility from the comfort of your own workplace. You can also access all your email accounts via a web based email utility.
